A relaxed, social painting session for anyone who enjoys painting miniatures & building models

Bring along your own miniatures and spend a few hours painting in a friendly studio environment, with guidance, tips and tuition from professional prop artist Dan Baines as you work.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your skills, this is a chance to learn, experiment, and paint alongside like-minded people.

There’s also access to the studio’s 3D printing catalogue, with thousands of miniatures and models available to browse, order & print (at an additional cost, kept very reasonable).

Feel free to bring food and drink; a breakout area is available.

Paint, materials and tools are provided. If you don’t have any models, there is a selection of free miniatures to get you started.

What You’ll Do

  • Choose from a large library of miniatures to print

  • Learn miniature painting techniques

  • Paint your own model to take home

  • Meet other hobbyists and even play a few games

Hosted at a creative studio venue just outside Tunbridge Wells, with plenty of parking on site.

Parents can drop off and head into town while the workshop runs.

Safe Learning Environment

Workshops are run by Dan Baines, a professional prop artist with over 20 years of experience in film, television and illusion design.

Dan is fully enhanced DBS checked and regularly works with young people through creative workshops and educational programmes.
