Print, Paint & Play is a relaxed Saturday workshop where young hobbyists can learn how to 3D print and paint their own miniatures, guided by professional prop artist Dan Baines.
Whether you want to learn the technical side of 3D printing, develop your miniature painting skills, or simply spend a couple of hours painting with other like-minded hobbyists, the sessions are designed to be flexible.
You choose what you want to focus on — and Dan will be on hand throughout the session to help and guide you whatever you decide to learn.
No experience needed. Just turn up and get started.
What You’ll Do
Learn the basics of 3D printing miniatures and models
Choose from a large library of miniatures to print
Learn miniature painting techniques
Paint your own model to take home
Meet other hobbyists and even play a few games
Session Times
Two sessions every Saturday:
Session 1: 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Session 2: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Each session lasts 2 hours, although if there is availability, you can book for both sessions.
Only 8 places are available per session.
Cost
£15 per session
Includes all materials, paint, equipment and tuition.
Your first session includes a free miniature and a brush to get you started.
Location
Hosted at a creative studio venue just outside Tunbridge Wells, with plenty of parking on site.
Parents can drop off and head into town while the workshop runs.

Safe Learning Environment
Workshops are run by Dan Baines, a professional prop artist with over 20 years of experience in film, television and illusion design.
Dan is fully enhanced DBS checked and regularly works with young people through creative workshops and educational programmes.
