Safety Disclaimer – Use of Pyrotechnic Flash Products

Krampusnacht 9: The Ritual of the Damned incorporates the use of flash string, flash cotton, and other pyrotechnic ignition materials. These materials are highly flammable and present inherent risks including, but not limited to, fire, burns, smoke inhalation, and property damage.

By purchasing, handling, or performing with this product, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of any person or property in the vicinity of its use. Lebanon Circle and its affiliates accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from improper handling, storage, or performance conditions.

Mandatory Safety Requirements

  1. Use Only Approved Materials
Only use professionally manufactured flash products from recognised magic or theatrical suppliers. Do not substitute with home-made or non-certified alternatives.

  2. Safe Storage
Flash products must be stored in a sealed, dry, cool container away from heat sources, electrical equipment, direct sunlight, and all open flames. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.

  3. Preparation and Loading

    • Do not load flash material until you are immediately ready to perform.

    • Do not transport the device while loaded.

    • Ensure all ignition surfaces are clean, dry, and free from foreign material.

  4. Performance Area Requirements
The device must not be used near flammable fabrics, foliage, props, decorations, alcohol vapours, aerosols, or any material that may ignite. Maintain a clear radius around yourself and the apparatus at all times.

  5. Personal Safety

    • Keep hands, clothing, jewellery, hair, and accessories clear of the ignition point.

    • Do not perform while impaired by alcohol, medication, fatigue, or any condition affecting judgement or reaction time.

    • Protective equipment such as a fire blanket and extinguisher must be accessible during all rehearsals and performances.

  6. Audience Safety
Maintain an appropriate distance between the apparatus and audience members. Do not allow spectators to handle the device before or after loading.

  7. Testing and Inspection
Test the ignition system in a controlled environment before your first performance. Inspect for loose wiring, damage, corrosion, or debris. If anything appears faulty, discontinue use until corrected.

  8. Modification Prohibition
Under no circumstances should the ignition system, wiring, housing, or retention mechanisms be modified. Alteration voids all warranties and significantly increases risk of malfunction.

Legal and Performer Responsibility
