Darwin's Secret Collection
Discovered in the attic of Charles Darwin's home Down House during restoration in 1929. The frame holds various butterfly specimens as well as a winged humanoid creature which has been dried, pinned and mounted. Amongst the hidden specimens were other various anomalous creatures that to this day defy mainstream science.
It is assumed that although Darwin took a great interest in these samples their origin could not be quantified and even if it was possible it would invariably contradict his groundbreaking theory of evolution. As a result Darwin's collection of curious cryptids now resides in Dan Baines' private museum.
